Post Graduate Certificate (PGC) in Radiographic Reporting of the Chest and Abdomen

This course, in partnership with the University of Suffolk, is designed for radiographers wishing to expand their scope of practice and develop the theoretical and clinical knowledge base required to interpret chest and abdomen radiographs and construct clear and concise medical image reports in line with local protocols.

During the course you will learn the theoretical principles of interpretation of chest and abdomen radiographs which alongside work-based learning in your department, will develop your competencies to provide clinical reports of chest and abdomen radiographs

Successful completion of the course will also help evidence your role as an advanced clinical practitioner in relation to Health Education England’s framework for Advanced Clinical Practice (2017). We are also in the process of seeking approval from the College of Radiographers for this course.

This PGC is validated by the University of Suffolk and will be delivered at the Norwich Radiology Academy. This is a facility designed specifically to teach radiology and offers access to a picture archiving and communication system linked to image reporting workstations.
